2. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers only the processing of personal data through the landing site at deliberategolfpractice.com, including the newsletter subscription feature.

The DGP webapp at webapp.deliberategolfpractice.com is a separate service with its own Privacy Policy.

3. Data We Collect and Why

3.1 Server Logs

When you visit this site, our server automatically records:

HTTP response status

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — secure and stable operation of the website.
Retention: Up to 30 days, then deleted.

3.2 Newsletter Subscription (Ghost Members)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect:

Your email address
The date and time of your subscription
Your IP address at the time of signup (stored for consent documentation)

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Process: Subscription is completed via double opt-in. After entering your email address, you will receive a confirmation email. Your subscription is only activated after you click the confirmation link in that email.

Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter email, or by contacting us directly. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.

Retention: Your subscription data is retained for as long as your subscription is active. Upon unsubscribing, your data is deleted.

4. Cookies

Ghost sets a session cookie if you access your member management page (e.g. to update your email address or manage your subscription). This cookie is strictly necessary for that function.

No cookies are set for general visitors who browse the landing site without interacting with the member management feature.

We do not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, social media buttons, or any third-party tracking technologies. No third-party cookies are set.

5. Data Processors
